Quick Little Info About Taiwan

      

Hi everyone, I decided to do Taiwan as my chosen country because I've always been fascinated by Taiwan and saw that they tend to get a lot of earthquakes similar to here in California and thought I could relate to them. Taiwan is a very beautiful island country with Japan, the Philippines, and The Republic of China all surrounding it. They are known for their mostly tropical summer climate, their short winters, and almost non-existent fall and spring. They are very susceptible to earthquakes, floods, landslides, and typhoons but mainly typhoons and earthquakes. While the country is amazing and beautiful, they do have their fair share of natural disasters. I hope throughout this semester, everyone is able to learn a little something from me about Taiwan.
