Taiwan's Weather
When it comes to traveling it can be difficult to figure out when exactly is best to go to yourselected location. You wouldn’t want to arrive somewhere and realize that the warm weather clothes youpacked are useless since your chosen area for vacation is in severely cold weather. Talk about money andtime wasted. Luckily for Taiwan not much needs to be worried about when it comes to weather. WhileTaiwan is subject to colder seasons and warmer seasons like most countries, the biggest temperaturedifference is between around 86 degrees fahrenheit to 59 degrees fahrenheit according to USA TodayTravel Tips. It seems as if the weather in Taiwan is usually pretty nice except for the constant rain youwill probably experience. If you love the rain though then Taiwan is paradise. So when heading toTaiwan try and make sure to bring an umbrella because the chances of it raining while you're there arepretty high.
The only major weather events experienced in Taiwan would be typhoons. Taiwan will usually experience about 4 storms of the typhoon variety per year. USA Today Travel Tips states, “Most arrive in the period between July and October and originate around the Caroline Islands and the Philippines, according to Taiwan's Central Weather Bureau. The typhoons bring extremely wet and windy weather and can cause tremendous damage, including the destruction of crops, flooding and landslides, and can lead to outbreaks of waterborne diseases like cholera,” (USA Today, Travel Tips). So if you wanna go to Taiwan whether it be for vacation, the annual LGBTQ+ parades because they are very pro-LGBTQ+ in Taiwan, business, or whatever reason you may have, don't worry too much about whether but do make sure to bring along an umbrella in case of downpour and do be wary of the typhoons that do usually appear in July to October.
